IFC Recruitment

The formal IFC recruitment period takes place towards the beginning of the fall and spring semesters. Formal Recruitment is approximately week long, and is slated to begin early September. During the first few nights of Formal Recruitment, fraternities host open events for potential members to attend. Towards the end of the week, Formal Recruitment events become invite only. Potential Members going through Formal Recruitment are required to attend events of 3 chapters in order to be able to accept a bid.
IFC permits for Open Recruitment. If a potential member is in their first semester at Truman, they cannot accept a bid via Open Recruitment until after the conclusion of Formal Recruitment. If you have any questions about the IFC recruitment process, email ifc@truman.edu.
