Greek Organization/Student of the Month
Greek Organization of the Month seeks to recognize one outstanding organization each month for their dedication to the four pillars of Greek Life at Truman State University: scholarship, leadership, integrity, and commitment. This organization uses these pillars to portray a positive example of Greek Life on campus and in the community.
Now nominations are also open for Greek Student of the Month! One may use the same form below to nominate an individual member of the Greek community for their commitment to the pillars of Greek Life.
Please fill out and submit the nomination form below to qualify a Greek organization or student as a candidate for Greek Organization/Student of the Month. Nominations may also come from advisors, faculty, staff, alumni, and non-Greek organizations.
Nominating a Greek organization or Greek student is a great way to highlight some of the spectacular things that are happening in the community. Service projects, brotherhood/sisterhood events, trips to conferences, and more are all great ways to show off the exemplary work of an organization or individual student.
Nomination forms must be turned in by 5pm on the last day of the month. All information given in the nomination must be from the present month. The Greek Advisory Board will choose the recipients each month. Recipients of the award will receive free PR featured as the Greek Organization of the Month or Greek Student of the Month on the Greek Life website (greeklife.truman.edu), the Truman Greek Facebook and Twitter Pages, as well as a banner posted on the SUB Mall after the organization/student has been selected.
Organizations and students who are selected as winners may not be selected again for the remaining semester.
